 Discrimination
for people with disabilities still remains a persistent and
pervasive social problem. We at D.R.A.G. believe understanding is
the key. We encourage everybody with disabilities to join us: Know
your rights and available options.
We
provide assistance to those who have experienced or recently
encountered
 discrimination
in Housing, Transportation, Employment, and Public Accommodations
(accessibility). We also provide Lawyer Referrals (a small service
charge for non-members). There are attorneys who specialize in
Disability Law and Discrimination.
We
also encourage those without disabilities to get involved as well.
Whether you happen to know a disabled person, or have a close loved one
with a disability,
joining D.R.A.G. would help you understand their needs, be more
knowledgeable of their condition and even learn how to assist
persons with disabilities!
